We are so excited to announce our Senior Mini-Musical at Alize’s School of Singing…

✨ OH MY GOD, YOU GUYS!
A totally pink mini-musical

This high-energy, feel-good show is packed with iconic songs, hilarious moments, confident characters, and BIG ensemble numbers. Think sparkle, sass, storytelling, and strong performances from start to finish.

This mini-musical is perfect for students who love:
💗 Performing with confidence
🎭 Acting with personality and comedy
🎶 Big group numbers and standout moments
👠 A polished, theatrical, feel-good show

Throughout the term, students will work on vocal performance, character development, stage presence, and ensemble skills, all while having an absolute blast on stage.

This one is going to be a showstopper. We cannot wait to see it come to life 💕✨

Today in Annabelle’s lesson, we focused on warming up and cooling down using the vocal tube 🎶🫧
With Annabelle currently performing in a panto and doing lots of singing over the coming days, good vocal care is absolutely essential 🎭✨

The vocal tube works by blowing bubbles in water, which helps release vocal tension, improve breath flow, and support healthy, efficient voice use 💨💙
Using this regularly before and after singing will help protect her voice, reduce strain, and keep her feeling strong and comfortable throughout a busy performance schedule 🌟🎤

Meet Ailbhe, Our New Drama Teacher 🎭

We are delighted to welcome Ailbhe McCabe-Crowe to the team as our new Drama Teacher at Alize’s School of Singing.

Ailbhe is currently completing a Higher Diploma in Drama Education at Griffith College and brings over 15 years of professional experience across production houses, animation studios, and UK broadcasting. She currently works full-time as a Development Producer with the Oscar-nominated Cartoon Saloon, where she oversees the development of original and adapted animation projects and feature films.

Previously, Ailbhe spent seven years working with Channel 5’s Milkshake! and Nickelodeon in London, as well as three years with JAM Media in Dublin. This background has given her deep insight into children’s television, storytelling, and creative collaboration.

Alongside her industry experience, Ailbhe trained in Speech and Drama with the Leinster School of Speech and Drama, studied Media Studies and Irish, and appeared in a six-part television drama series produced by Abú Media, which aired on TG4 and BBC2.

Ailbhe is deeply passionate about drama education and its impact on young people. She believes drama builds confidence, creativity, communication skills, and self-belief, skills that stay with children long after they leave the stage.

Her classes focus on helping students find their voice, think on their feet, work as part of a team, and enjoy the process of performance in a supportive and encouraging environment.

We are thrilled to have Ailbhe join our school and cannot wait for our students to learn and grow with her.

We are beyond excited to announce our next Mini Musical for ages 7–11 at Alize’s School of Singing.

✨ Tea Parties & Tall Tales
A most curious musical adventure

Expect tea cups, tall tales, silly characters, big songs, and lots of laughs as our students dive into a world where nothing is quite what it seems. This mini musical is packed with fun dialogue, catchy songs, imaginative characters, and brilliant ensemble moments, giving every child their chance to shine on stage.

Over the term, students will:
🎭 Build confidence and acting skills
🎶 Strengthen singing technique and performance skills
🌟 Learn stage presence and character work
🤝 Work as part of a team in a lively, supportive environment

This show is designed to be fun first, while still helping students grow as performers and storytellers. No pressure, no stress, just lots of creativity, confidence-building, and magical musical moments.

Ability to teach both singing and piano is a strong advantage.

Requirements:
• Proven experience teaching both young children and adults
• Strong skills in singing and piano
• Reliable, professional, and confident working as part of a growing team
• Experience with RIAM exams

This junior show was so special to me, for more reasons than one.

Getting to conduct the junior show while also watching it through the eyes of a mammy was a moment I have always dreamed of. Leading the show and watching our incredible juniors shine, while seeing my own little girl Layla up on stage doing something she loves, was deeply emotional and something I will never forget.

I am so proud of every single child who performed. The confidence, bravery, and pure joy they brought to the stage was just beautiful to watch. All of the hard work behind the scenes truly showed, in every smile, every song, and every moment on stage.

This was one of those moments that reminds me exactly why I do what I do. A day I will treasure forever 💕✨

Here’s a little clip of our cast singing ‘Tomorrow’ from our mini musical ‘A Hard Knock Tale’. These young students, aged only 7 to 12, delivered a performance that was absolutely outstanding. The whole mini musical was unbelievable from start to finish. The work they put in has been incredible and watching it all come together so perfectly on stage was genuinely special.

Huge well done to every single student. You were amazing. 🌟🎭✨
